Registration for the 2024 season opens March 1st
All players are required to register online or in person and complete a player packet.
Traditionally, our football divisions have been established on age and weight. Pop Warner has implemented many changes to improve the safety of our player athletes.
These changes encompass new rules to game play, limitations to contact during practice, increased training requirements for coaches and participants, and strict protocols following illness or injury. With these changes, we are now able to maintain healthy competition and player safety based on age alone.
Therefore, in addition to our typical younger divisions (flag and Tiny Mitey Mite), we are able to offer the following age-based tackle football divisions: 8U, 10U, 11U, 12U, 13U and 14U. Please refer to the breakdown of football divisions below for additional detail.

Registration is a three step process:
Register and pay on-line or at an in person registration event. IF REGISTERING ONLINE, DO NOT DOWNLOAD AND COMPLETE THE POP WARNER REGISTRATION PAPERWORK. THE ONLY REGISTRATION PAPERWORK THAT WILL BE ACCEPTED WILL BE PROVIDED IN THE REGISTRATION PAPERWORK PACKET PROVIDED BY SOUTH COAST YOUTH FOOTBALL.
Pick-up a paperwork packet. (We will notify parents via email and social media when we have dates scheduled)
Attend the Mandatory Paperwork Turn In Registration Event and turn in player’s mandatory paperwork (not scheduled yet).

This Pop Warner league serves the following cities: San Clemente, Dana Point, Laguna Beach and Open Draw zones in Laguna Niguel, San Juan Capistrano, Rancho Mission Viejo and Camp Pendleton.
We provide flag football, tackle football and cheerleading to athletes ages 5-15.

*The standard registration rate for active duty military families is 50% regular standard rate per player for football and 50% off regular registration rate per player for cheer. Valid military identification must be presented at the early or live registration event to receive this discounted rate.
A payment plan is available for Standard Registration only. A $15.00 transaction fee will apply.
